Nakeya Riley Bennett is the founder and creative director of TRM Designs & Co., a boutique interior design studio based in Atlanta and serving clients both locally and beyond.
Her love for design began early. As a child, Nakeya spent countless weekends alongside her mother tackling home improvement projects, installing wallpaper, painting walls, updating lighting, and reimagining rooms throughout their home. What began as simple DIY projects quickly sparked a lifelong appreciation for the impact thoughtful design can have on how a space looks, feels, and functions.
Over the years, that passion naturally extended into helping friends and family reimagine their own homes—often sourcing décor pieces, styling rooms, and bringing new life to everyday spaces. Eventually, what started as a personal creative outlet evolved into TRM Designs & Co., where Nakeya now works with clients to transform their homes and workspaces into environments that feel both elevated and deeply personal.
Nakeya’s design philosophy centers on clean, timeless interiors that balance beauty with functionality. She believes great design should enhance the character of a space while creating an atmosphere that clients and their families can enjoy for years to come.
Through TRM Designs & Co., Nakeya works with a select number of residential and commercial clients each year, guiding projects from concept through installation with a thoughtful, curated approach.
Nakeya lives in Atlanta with her son, Sebastian. Outside of design projects, they enjoy traveling, discovering new restaurants, visiting showrooms and home stores, and spending time together exploring the city.
